Join us for a social evening of wine and tapas at The Gibsons Farm, where the ambiance is set aglow with twinkling lights, a crackling fire, music, and delightful company.

As you sip your wine, a succession of small dishes will be presented to your table, each one thoughtfully crafted to evoke the rich flavours of the Iberian Peninsula. Taste at your leisure, savouring dishes with wine of your choice and bask in the cozy atmosphere of the night with your fellow cellar companions.

Location: 713 Henry Rd, Gibsons, BC V0N 1V2

What does a ticket include?

Each ticket purchase includes all food provided as well as a welcome beverage. We’ll have a bar with a selection of wines intended to pair well with the tapas as well as alcohol-free options for purchase.

What about the temperature?

For the duration of the evening you will be sat in The Gibsons Farm open air dining area. While we will be keeping the space nice and toasty with blankets, heaters and the flame of the pizza oven, we do recommend embracing the outdoor nature of the event and wearing layers to ensure your comfort.

Will I leave hungry?

No. While this is not a formal ‘sit down dinner’ (we want to encourage mingling and a social atmosphere!) there will be enough plates coming your way that you shouldn’t leave hungry. We want you to feel full and happy while sipping your libations.

  • The Dining Experience

The Farm Cellar event is held in The Gibsons Farm open air dining space. The dining space is made up of a number of harvest tables beneath a handcrafted shelter equipped with heaters. The shelter looks onto the farm and the open kitchen, so you can watch the magic happening before it hits your table.

  • The Gibsons Farm

Located in coastal Gibsons, BC, the farm is a family and friend run working farm. They offer summer camps and school programs, run a seasonal farm stand, provide a venue for special events and weddings, and play host to local favourite The Short Cut food truck. The Gibsons Farm is devoted to ecosystems and sustainable food production. They believe in multigenerational, community based education.

  • The Food

You can expect a mix of vegetables, meat, and bread. For each event we try to keep the food on theme while exploring local varieties that are currently in season. For example, for late fall or early winter, you can expect a variety of squash, warm flavours, and spices.
